Dating back to the early 1500's. Wandering
through the twisting narrow cobbled streets
you can easily imagine the sailors, fishermen
and smugglers who walked the streets all those
years ago. Robin Hoods Bay has a good choice
of places to eat and drink. There are two good
restaurants and four or five pubs all offering
really good food and only a few minutes walk
away from us. If you like walking then this
is the place to come as there are numerous interesting
walks. If not, it is an
ideal relaxing place to just chill out. There
is also a regular bus service that runs into
captain cooks town
of Whitby, which is only six miles away.
